*Biking on the scenic Halfway Creek Bike Trail that follows Halfway Creek for 4.3 miles and connects with the Great River Bike Trail located in Midway to the south and the Holland Bike Trail to the north.
*Fishing along the upper Mississippi River basin.
*Golfing on three courses: Cedar Creek Country Club, Drugan's Castle Mound and Trempealeau Mountain.
*Holmen has many restaurants that range from fast food, diners, and fine dining. A few of these restaurants include Subway, Pizza Corral, Blue Cup, Features, The Frosty Mug, McDonalds, Jacqlons, Burger King, T-Jo's II and Drugan's Supper Club.
*Lodging is available in Holmen at the Prairie Inn and Suites located off of HWY 53 at Midway
*Conveniently located service centers, dentists, hair stylists, and tanning centers.
*Holmen square strip mall features Festival Foods grocery store, Ultimate Salon and Spa 2, Simply Entree, with much more to come.
*Holmen has 12 parks, featuring Deer Wood Park, a 40 acre community park that includes hiking trails, sledding hill, 3 ball fields, 4 tennis courts, playscape, picnic areas, hockey rink and more. In June of 1999, the Village opened the Holmen Area Aquatic Center, a 12,000 square foot, zero depth aquatic center with a 200 foot water slide, drop slide, water play features, sand play area, bathhouse, and concessions.
